I am creative yes, If I put my hands into it, I know I can create something beautiful, but my mind refuses to settle. Can I create something beautiful but stimulating? Something relevant to me? Something that will help me and maybe someone else?
I've haven't really appreciated knowledge until recently. Going through the motions of school. Finding the answers to questions I didn't really care about to get the grade, to get the degree. To find somewhere to belong. It's a loop that's easy to get stuck in. But knowledge transforms, as you learn new things, your questions become more profound and those answers more enlightening. You learn things about yourself, others, things you've never considered before. Before you know it you are a completely different creature just because of what you know. I'm on a constant hunt for more knowledge and my work will always reflect that.
